We generally return calls at the end of our morning business hours or after our evening hours - in between those times, we are very busy giving our guests all of our attention and care! You can bring them with you at arrival and it will really expedite your first visit with us! Every reservation requires a credit card guarantee. Any cancellations made inside of 72 hours of the reservation will be charged for a 2-night stay per pet.
Lobby & Boutique Hours We are open 7 days/week!! We have a fully secured and gated facility. For the safety of all of our guests, all arrivals & departures are scheduled by individual & private appointments, otherwise there is no access to OtterTail Pet Resort. We schedule those appointments during the following hours: Mondays - Fridays 7:30am - 11:00am & 4:00pm-6:00pm Saturdays 7:30am - 11:00am Sundays 5:00pm - 7:00pm If you would like to schedule an arrival or departure outside of our normal appointment times, please contact us to check availability. If available, there will be an additional $25 charge for those appointments booked outside of the schedule outlined above. Any special appointments scheduled for the weekends will be charged for the full weekend (through Sunday evening) in addition to the $25 special appointment fee. Because we keep such a tight schedule, we regret that if you are more than 30 minutes late for your arrival or departure appointment, an additional $25 fee may be charged to your account. Please be courteous of other guests and arrive at your scheduled time. (Departures after 11am will incur an additional full-day boarding charge) Our lobby is closed on all major holidays.
Advanced reservations and a deposit for a 2-day charge per pet are required for weekends, summer months, holidays, and other peak boarding times. There may be a minimum number of nights required for boarding during those times, as well. Payment: Full payment for your pet's vacation is due upon arrival. We accept checks, cash, Visa, and MasterCard. All of our reservations are booked by personal appointment. Please call or email us to book your arrival date and time.
Pick Up/Delivery Services: Often available for all services by appointment. Please call to check availability. Mileage fee is currently $3.00/mile roundtrip, but subject to change with rising fuel costs.
